This Rinjani tour package is good for hikers with some experience, to visit the amazing summit of mount rinjani at 3726m.

Trip summary :
Day 0 :
Arrival in Senaru: pick you up in Lombok at the airport or your hotel or Lombok port and drive you to Senaru village (tell us your time of pickup). check in to your accommodation and briefing about the trekking procedure. If you arrive in Senaru 3 hours before sunset, you can visit waterfall Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep.

Day 1 :
Drive from Senaru to starting Sembalun village (Kandang Sapi) and camp at Sembalun crater rim

Day 2 :
Walk up to summit and down to finish point with same way to Sembalun village.

Day 1 : Trek to Sembalun Crater Rim

06.30 you will get breakfast
07.00 Drive to sembalun village for 45 minute
07.45 register at the Rinjani national park office and then drive again to starting point about 15 minutes
08.00 Start the trek from sembalun starting point (1100m) to the Pos 1 (1300 m), rest for 10 minutes for some snack. walking time is about 2 hours mostly through forest.
10.00 From Pos 1 continue to Pos 2 (1500 m), walking time is about 1.5 hours. when you arrive at Pos 2 ,our team will prepare your lunch
13.00 From Pos 2 continue our journey to Pos 3 (1800 m), walking time is approx. 1 hour. from starting point to Pos 3 the path is not so steep.
14.00 Pos 3 we have a rest for 10/15 minutes, then will continue to Pos 4 (2100m) or pos extra for about 60 minutes, then rest again here.
15.00 From Pos 4 we are heading to sembalun crater rim (2639 m), walking time is around 2 hours up, including a prolonged steep climb. around 5pm you arrive at sembalun crater rim.
17.00 At sembalun crater rim, our team will prepare your camp for the first night and also your dinner. from here you can enjoy the awesome sunset and view to volcano lake.
Day 2 : Walk to summit and back to Sembalun village

02.30 Wake up and have some light breakfast with tea or coffee. You can take a look at the night sky.
03.00 We start the trek heading to the summit of mount rinjani (3.726 m). walking time approximately 3 hours. arrive at 06:00, sunrise come at 6.10 am. from the Summit you can see all of Lombok island, mount Agung in Bali, Sumbawa an Gili island and crater lake. after sunrise for 10/20 minutes, we will go down to the sembalun crater rim for about 2 hours. then you have a hot breakfast and break.
09.00 We will go down the same way to Sembalun village, which takes about 4 hours until finish point. we have lunch at Pos 2.
13.00 Our driver is waiting at the finish point and drives you back to our office.
13.45 And then transfer you to the next location.
