We took the Golden Queen from Padang Bai to Gili air, we took the early boat so the ocean wasn’t too rough. Arrive early so you can get a seat at the front of the boat where the aircon is as the can be very busy and back of boat can be very hot. We got to Gili air smoothly with no issues, price was fair and staff kept us informed. We recommend Golden Queen. Safe and clean with air conditioner at front of boat.

We had a fine ride. Probably because the sea was quite calm, so we were lucky. The ride on the upper deck (last bit from Gili T. To Lombok) was fun!

After the recessions here, we really panicked about the trip.
I have to report all the more here.
On the outward journey we were 1.5 hours late, but we arrived safely after 2.5 hours with a stop at Trawangan.
We had a small speedboat. It's worth checking during a stopover to make sure your suitcase stays in the boat.

The return journey was rebooked from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 a.m. We left Gili Air with a 30 minute delay.
On the return trip we had the big speedboat, which usually leaves at 11:30 a.m.
After two hours without any problems we were in Bali.
No engine failure, no people breaking BUT very high waves.
It's worth having a full stomach to avoid the nausea.
We had a good seat, air conditioning and a movie (Topgun). Children slept through the crossing.

Keep an eye on your suitcase until the end! It's best to book directly through the company. Everything was well organized. Receive information in advance via WhatsApp.
