Our cycling tour begins with a hotel pickup service. Our friendly English-speaking driver will warmly greet you in the hotel lobby at the scheduled time. Travel time to the starting point varies depending on your hotel location—approximately 2 hours from South Bali and 1,5 minutes from Ubud in the morning. From there, you will be taken to the starting point in Wangaya Gede Village, near Batukaru Temple. Once you’re ready, hop on your bike and start your approx 2 hour cycling adventure, depending on your pace. This serene countryside area offers fresh mountain air and lush green surroundings. The journey starts with a ride through Wangaya Gede Village, As you continue cycling, you will be treated to a lush tropical landscape, with towering trees and various tropical plants lining the route. Throughout the journey, you will pass through areas filled with vibrant greenery, including **durian trees, coffee plantations, chocoa, bamboo tree , and other tropical flora. passing through quiet rural roads and scenic rice terraces of Jatiluwih, a UNESCO-recognized heritage site. Along the way, you will witness breathtaking landscapes of cascading rice fields, a signature of Bali’s traditional subak irrigation system. Throughout the ride, you will follow a smooth, narrow asphalt road, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable cycling experience. Once we arrive at Jatiluwih, you will have the chance to pause and take in the stunning views, capturing unforgettable moments. The cool mountain breeze and the scent of fresh nature will make your cycling experience even more refreshing. The adventure continues through a scenic single-track paved trail winding through the heart of Jatiluwih’s rice fields. This immersive journey offers a unique perspective of the local farming lifestyle. About 80% of the route is downhill or flat, with only a few short uphill sections. You will also pass through a historic site, Pura Besi Kalung, a hidden temple surrounded by lush greenery, where your support vehicle and driver will be waiting for you. After completing the cycling tour, you will be driven approximately 15 minutes to a traditional Balinese house compound. Here, you will experience an authentic Balinese lunch, served in the traditional way while learning about the unique architecture and cultural significance of Balinese home layouts. Once you’ve enjoyed your meal and soaked in the rich cultural experience, we will drive you back to your hotel.
