MOUNT BATUR SUNRICE TREKING

Mount Batur is an active volcano located in the middle of two concentric calderas to the northwest of Bali's Mount Agung. The larger 10×13 km southeast side of the caldera contains the caldera lake. The 7.5 kilometer wide inner caldera, which was formed during Bali's settlement, is estimated to be between 23,670 and 28,500 years ago.

Many tourists visit this place to enjoy the view and climb. If you are a nature lover, Mount Batur is the answer. About 2 hours from the mountain slopes to the peak, where we can see views of the sunrise and the island of Lombok from a distance.

This caldera is inhabited and includes the four main villages of Kedisan, Songan, Trunyan and Toya Bungkah. Local residents mostly depend on agriculture for income, but tourism is becoming increasingly popular due to the relatively easy trek to the top of the central crater.

TREKING ITINERARY
01.30 am Pick up time depending your accommodation in Bali, From your hotel will drive direct to start point
03.30 am Arrival at starting point, introduction and safety procedure briefing by experience professional hiking guide (association of mount Batur trekking guides).
04.00 am The guide will take you on a one and a half hour trek to reach the top or summit to see sunrise
06.00 am Coffee or tea will served by the guide and see super spectacular sunrise.
07.00 am From the summit, you can decide direct to car park if you have more plan after the hike or the guide will lead you around the rim and explore to second crater (erupted in 1926), the third ( erupted in 1963), and youngest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994).
08.00 am Cross little jungle
09.00 am You will arrive at the bottom
09.20 am Breakfast at restaurant with overlooking lake and mount batur volcano
11.00 am – 1 pm : estimated Return to hotel Depending on the location and could be later if visiting hot spring or coffee plantation.
