Pick up from your hotel in Bali early in the morning to watch the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur. Departure between 01:30 and 02:30 (depending on the location of your hotel) and drive towards the active volcano near the village of Kintamani.
Upon arrival at Mount Batur, you will receive a brief introduction and safety briefing from your private guide. All guides are locals with experience climbing Mount Batur since childhood! Benefit from their extensive knowledge and passion for the region before embarking on the 1.5-hour trek to Bali's highest volcanic crater in time to watch the sunrise.
When you arrive, enjoy breakfast upstairs and enjoy the breathtaking view of the surroundings at daybreak. After sunrise, enjoy some time to circle the volcano's crater before crossing a hill of lava and black sand. Hike down the mountain and relieve your pain at a natural hot spring at 9:00 a.m.
Visit a coffee plantation on the way back to your accommodation and get dropped off at around 1:00 p.m. at the end of a fantastic morning!
