WHITE WATER RAFTING AND SNORKELING TO BLUE LAGOON

Highly recommended activity.

Booking
Booked online and activity was confirmed with email and voucher attached within the hour. The customer support team is very responsive, and arrangements were made and coordinated via WhatsApp usually 1 day before activity.

Rafting
Rafting was operated by BMW, a great and established operator. We were located in Nusa Dua and the driver picked us up early at 7am for the rafting activity with BMW at 9.30am. Presented the booking voucher and the raft instructor gave us the safety briefing and the exciting journey on Telaga Waja River. Do arrange for the photographer and he will take lots of photos for you or you can bring your handphone along in a waterproof porch. Would also recommend trying out the flying fox as a add on (225k/pax), quick entry (less than 1 min) and bring you down to the river or just take a short hike down to the river.

The Telaga Waja river is a rapid river with a lot of energy and hence very little paddling required. It is a great journey with beautiful sights of waterfall, padi fields. There will be pit stops along the river where the locals will offer drinks (so do bring some cash in waterproof bag). The experience concluded with a local lunch at BMW restaurant and equipped with a decent shower facility to change and wash up.

Snorkelling
Due to traffic condition, we arrive at blue lagoon snorkelling very late. Fortunately, their timing was really flexible as the operate their own boats and have their own operators, which we were the only passengers onboard. There are 2 locations for the snorkelling and there are many operators there and they support each other to look after the snorkellers in the area. The Blue lagoon is really beautiful and nice with many corals and fishes,

Overall Summary
Was a great day, as we spend half a day rafting (3hr) and the other half snorkeling (2hr) and easily 7 hrs on transport. (Will not recommended the combination on the same day as we felt drained after both activities, maybe due to the travelling distance, we slept most of the time in the vehicle)

A really enjoyable day. Physically, a very easy day. The rafting was easy to access any the scenery was beautiful. The snorkelling was also enjoyable. The first spot was quite shallow, with a huge variety of fish to see easily. The second spot was a bit choppy but still enjoyable. A great day out and highly recommend.

It was a great day out with for two families with teenage kids. White water rafting was fun, nothing too extreme, so it was enjoyed by everyone. Lunch was provided and was adequate and fresh. The rafting guys were professional and made it fun as well.
Snorkeling was great as well, plenty of fish life. The equipment was adequate, however if you prefer to use you own stuff I would take that. Overall a fun filled day. It was a full day nearly 10 hours by the time we got home. But definitely worth it.
Transport was provided and was easily arranged with the company.
